John Pappa
John is a California native who moved to Raleigh in 2021. He and his wife, Lynn, began attending Amplify in the winter of 2022 and quickly jumped into church life, serving as outside greeters, on the Prayer and Care Team, visiting homebound members, and co-leading the ReEngage marriage ministry with other couples.
John and Lynn will celebrate 40 years of marriage in May 2026. They have three adult children and nine grandchildren, with a tenth arriving this March.
A UC Davis graduate, John spent over 40 years in the tech industry—mainly in Silicon Valley—working with both startups and companies like Lockheed, IBM, and IQVIA. Lynn is a retired schoolteacher. Together, they share a deep love for faith, family, and service. In his free time, John enjoys sports, camping, hunting, and fishing.
